The new Youth Hostel of Melgaço was inaugurated last April 1st and counted with the presence of his Excellency the Presidency Minister Pedro Silva Pereira, the State Secretary of Youth and Sports Laurentino Dias, the Mayor of Melgaço António Rui Esteves Solheiro and Movijovem’s President Helena Alves, as well as Movijovem’s employees, partners, members of Parliament, important local entities and general population.

IMEDIATA, in the scope of the partnership established with Movijovem, has provided another Cybertotem* which makes internet access available to the Hostel’s clients and visitors. Integrated in the area of the Sports Complex and Leisure/Training Centre of Melgaço, the hostel is equipped with high quality infrastructures and a natural and sports background that are excellent for any stay option.

The new Hostel of Melgaço, in the heart of the Gerês region, will not be isolated in terms of information, thanks to the presence of another Cybertotem. It makes the access possible, in a convenient and modern way, by means of pre-paid cards resorting to a control software developed by IMEDIATA and named RaspaNêt.

With this Cybertotem there are now 28 Kiosks integrated in the Youth Hostels network. A valuable contribution, which undoubtedly helps to provide Portugal with the best infrastructures of Youth Hostels in Europe.
