Safe:Shell is an application security module. It prevents unauthorized accesses to the Operating System and to the application. It controls the application and resets the system in case of block or cut.
Safe:Shell is an application system which integrates the following fundamental functions:
- Active environment security;
- Application launch;
- Running applications monitoring;
- Removal of access to unwanted functions;
Safe:Shell System architecture: - Multi-User
The system allows several security contexts to be open simultaneously, therefore the applications are launched with independent levels within the security context.
- Multi-Desktop
The system allows the creation of several work environments, i.e. desktops, simultaneously. The applications are launched in the predefined environment, allowing a quick interchange between the already launched applications. Each environment is controlled independently. The Windows environment remains active and also accessible through own login.
- Application Monitoring
The launched applications are constantly monitored by Safe:Shell, so that if they stop responding in case of anomalies, they can be re-launched.
- Action Scheduler
Safe:Shell enables scheduled actions, such as:
o Reboots;
o Applications start-up;
o Among others...
This scheduler is very flexible and allows the events to be launched in several conditions. These can, however, be dependent on the condition of the machine. For example: a reboot can only be executed if the system is idle.
- Application Integration
Safe:Shell allows integration of managing system and remote Access -
Active:Link.
- Configuration GUI
Safe:Shell possesses an easy configuration graphical interface.
