What is the POS Kiosk?
The POS Kiosk is a set of applications which enable the integration of electronic payment systems with ATM access in Self-service environments.
Together with Kiosks you get a multifunctional product with multimedia applications (or others) and integrated payment systems.
By integrating the POS Kiosk, in a kiosk, in any vending machine or sales application, operating with Win32 systems, it will be able to accept Debit/Credit Cards.

Which are the operations that can be executed?

* Client Operations:  o Purchase  o Return  o Authorization/Confirmation  o Service Payments  o Balance Search  o Movements Search  o Credit Authorization  o Cancel Credit Authorization

* Supervision/maintenance operations:  o Period Opening  o Period Closing  o Reset Opening  o 'Electronic Purse' Deposit  o Last Transaction Search  o Total Searches  o Supervisor Code Change  o General Search  o Last Ticket Print

* The operations to be implemented depend on the type of terminal being analyzed.

Integrated management and diagnosis options:
 o Management of the financial activity of the terminal
 o Management of transactional LOG and anomalies
 o Diagnosis of the several peripherals
 o Other operations

Which are the characteristics?

• Access to ATM Network for debit/credit cards acceptance in real time.
• It can be integrated with already existing information systems, such as: sales, accounting, financial software or new retailing platforms.
• Financial operations can be executed through terminals (i.e., ATM Automatic Payment Terminal) in a quick, efficient, controlled and secure way.
• Flexibility to interoperate which makes POS Kiosk able to accept several National and/or International electronic payment schemes.
• It is also possible to coexist with traditional payment means (coins/bills).
• Migration to EMV system.
• Accesses via Dial, DOV, GSM, X.25 for payment systems or other accesses when applicable.
• Together with the kiosks, you get a multifunctional product with multimedia applications and payment systems.

Are the operations secure?
SIBS – Sociedade Interbancária de Serviços, SA is the entity in charge of managing the Portuguese ATM Network.
By means of the certificate granted to POS Kiosk by SIBS, the Authentication, Integrity, Non-Rejection and Confidentiality of the data exchanged on the network is ensured.
Imediata currently holds 3 different certificates of Self-service ATM granted by SIBS.
